The US stock market has been volatile during reporting season with the Dow Jones Industrial Average falling over 5.5 percent in the past four weeks. Rumors of an economic downturn, trade wars and interest rate cuts have fueled the volatility, but there are ways to determine if there are further falls to come on the Dow Jones Industrial Average or whether we are nearing the end of the down move.

In this week’s US Stock Market Report, we look at the top 20 stocks on the S&P 500 given that the top 10 make up 22.26 per cent of the total market and the top 20 make up a massive 31.36 per cent. In any market move these stocks will lead the way and by looking at the charts we can tell where these stocks, and the market as a whole is heading.
